Why developing your business requires a strategic approach
Strategic marketing and communications is essentially about making informed decisions to ensure efforts are focused and contribute to the company's long-term success, not just short-term gains. Without this approach, developing a business is incredibly difficult.
Key things to consider include:
- A focus on long-term goals:
Prioritising building lasting customer loyalty and sustainable growth. - Market analysis:
Understanding your customer needs, market trends, and who your competitors are. - A targeted approach:
Identify your ideal customers and tailor messaging to effectively reach them through the right channels. - Competitive advantage:
Differentiate your company from competitors by providing superior value and meeting customer needs better than your rivals.
You may already have a marketing and communications strategy in place, or have a rough idea of how you want to communicate with your customers. Or, you may have nothing at all. We offer a variety of services to help you to develop your strategy and plans wherever you are on that journey.
Business owners and the existing team can and should, be involved in this process. We encourage all involved to share ideas, challenges and solutions. Ultimately any strategy and plans will be most successfully implemented if all involved are engaged with the process and understand their place within them. There are a number of ways that we can support your team.

Baseline Business Review
For those businesses with smaller budgets our baseline business review includes the basic components of a marketing strategy.
This is suitable for those considering as simple lower key approach to communications.
It gives the information that you will need to get started with your marketing, whether in house or outsourced to an agency.
Businesses engaging two or more of our services are required to undertake this review if they do not have a strategy in place already.

Marketing Strategy & Plan
This service is designed for businesses who are taking on a more integrated approach to their marketing service. It can also be a standalone service that we provide. This ensures consistency, and includes a detailed analysis of your business, business objectives and marketing activity. We’ll look at your visioning and mission, SWOT analysis and work with you to develop key messages and identify target audiences.
At the end of the process your marketing strategy and plan will lay out all of the critical information needed to develop and deliver integrated marketing activity, including a forward marketing plan.

Facilitated Business Review
For those companies who aren’t clear or have lost track of who they are, where they wish to go and why. This is a facilitated session with your staff or team to explore these themes.
It is a professional, focussed session but can be delivered informally with company leads, or whole teams.
No jargon, just a focused session based on what the business is, who they are and finding out what they want to be. You will leave the session with clarity of where you want your company to go, and what it might take to get there.
The point is about teasing out what clients want, what's realistic, not being told what they should do. This can be a standalone session but has most impact when integrated with our marketing strategy and planning service.

Project Management
Sometimes you may have a one off project to complete but don't need to have the skills and staff in your business on a full time basis.
We offer a project management resource allowing us to pick up the reigns for you, and allowing you to pick up the support and skills when you need them.
We’ll plan your project according to your objectives, recommend the resources that will be required, and work with you through to delivery.
We have the experience that you require to deliver on your short term project, without the need for you to employ full time or temporary staff at management level, maximising your productivity while keeping your costs under control for the longer term.
